This writ petition was filed challenging the appointment of the second respondent as a Professor in the service of the University of Hyderabad.

No interim orders were granted in this writ petition. M/s.Indus Law Firm, learned Standing Counsel for the University of Hyderabad, informed this Court that the second respondent resigned from the service of the University in June, 2007. In the light of the aforestated development, the cause in this writ petition no longer survives for consideration on merits. The writ petition is accordingly dismissed.
