HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE S.V.BHATT WRIT PETITION No.34364 of 2016 ORDER:

The petitioner prays for the following relief: "For the reasons stated in the accompanying affidavit, it is therefore prayed that this Hon'ble High Court may be pleased to pass orders particularly one in the nature of writ of mandamus declaring the inaction of the respondents on the request of the petitioner to accord permission and provide police security to the Moharrum celebrations as arbitrary, illegal and violative of Articles 14, 21 and 29 of the Constitution of India and consequently direct the respondents to provide police security to the Moharrum Celebrations at Maddilingadahalli Village, Holagunda Mandal and grant such other relief as may be deemed just and proper in the circumstances of the case." On instructions, learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home submits that respondent No.3 is prepared to take a decision on the representation, dated 28.09.2016, within two days. The statement is placed on record.

Writ petition is disposed of by directing respondent No.3 to dispose of the representation, dated 28.09.2016, in accordance with law and after considering the relevant and all attendant circumstances in this behalf.
