Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Government Pleader for Revenue appearing for the respondents. 2.
Petitioner claims that he is the owner and possessor of land to an extent of Ac.20.36 guntas in Sy.Nos.219/2 and 219/4, Nemaragomula Village, Bibinagar Mandal, Presently Yadadri Bhongir District. In order to develop the property, petitioner applied for conversion of land to non-agricultural purpose under the Andhra Pradesh Agricultural Land (Conversion For NonAgricultural Purposes) Act, 2006 to the Revenue Divisional Officer, Yadadri Bhongir District, on 08.03.2014. Alleging inaction on the said application inspite of making several reminders, this writ petition is filed.

According to the petitioner so far no decision is made. If that is so, and if application is pending, the Revenue Divisional Officer3rd respondent is directed to examine the application submitted by the petitioner for conversion of the subject land for nonagricultural purpose and pass appropriate orders as warranted by law. As the issue is pending for more than four years, the 3rd respondent is directed to pass orders within four (4) weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
