This Civil Revision Petition was filed under Article 227 of the Constitution assailing the order dated 07.07.2017 passed by the Joint Collector, Ranga Reddy District, in an appeal filed under Section 90 of the Andhra Pradesh (Telangana Area) Tenancy and Agricultural Lands Act, 1950 (for short, 'the Act of 1950').

As such an order would be revisable under Section 91 of the Act of 1950, this Court, while ordering notice before admission, permitted Sri G.V.L. Murthy, learned counsel for the petitioners, to convert the revision into one under Section 91 of the Act of 1950. Thereafter, there was no representation when the case was taken up on 06.10.2017. When the matter was again taken up on 03.11.2017, this Court noticed that no steps had been taken to convert the revision into one under Section 91 of the Act of 1950 and accordingly adjourned the matter to 17.11.2017. It was made clear that in the event steps were not taken by the said date to effect the conversion, the Civil Revision Petition would be liable to be dismissed in the form it was instituted. Learned counsel for the petitioners again took time to take steps on 17.11.2017 and on 24.11.

2017. On 24.11.2017, this Court made it clear that as a last and final opportunity, the matter was being posted to 30.11.2017. Today, when the matter is taken up, it is noticed that the learned counsel for the petitioners merely filed a memo seeking to convert the Civil Revision Petition into one under Section 91 of the Act of 1950. Sri N. Vasudeva Reddy, learned counsel representing Sri N.

unless an application is filed, it is not permissible for the petitioners to seek conversion on the strength of a memo.

This Court finds merit in this submission. The petitioners have not taken steps to convert this revision into one under Section 91 of the Act of 1950 despite the many opportunities afforded to them. The Civil Revision Petition fails and is accordingly dismissed. Pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall also stand dismissed. No order as to costs.
