THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE C. PRAVEEN KUMAR WRIT PETITION NO. 23720 of 2017 ORDER :

Heard both sides. With the consent of both parties the writ petition is disposed of at the admission stage. 2.

The present writ petition came to be filed seeking issuance of writ of mandamus declaring the non inclusion of Komarole village/ Mandal in the list of identified mandals for starting a new private un-aided degree colleges for the academic year 2017-2018 in the notification APSCHE/ AWII/ NDC/ UG/ PG/ 2017, dated 30.03.2017, as illegal and arbitrary. 3.

Though various grounds are raised, learned counsel for the petitioner restricts his prayer seeking a direction to the respondents to consider the application dated 25.04.2017, made by the petitioner to the Chairman, APSCHE, A.P., at the earliest.

Learned Government Pleader states that the request of the petitioner may be directed to be dealt with, provided the said application is still pending.

Having regard to the above, the Writ Petition is disposed of directing the second respondent to consider the application dated 25.04.2017, made by the petitioner seeking permission to establish private unaided degree college, if the said application is still pending, in accordance with law, as early as possible, within a period of four to six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of the order. No costs.

Consequently, miscellaneous petitions, if any pending, shall stand closed.
