ORDER

This criminal petition under sections 437 and 439 of the Code of Criminal Procedure is filed by the petitioner-accused seeking to grant bail in connection with Cr.No.176 of 2015 of Anakapalle Town Police Station, Visakhapatnam District, registered for the offence punishable under Section 376 IPC and under Sections 4 and 8 of Protection of Children From Sexual Offences Act, 2012.

2. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Additional Public Prosecutor.

3. It is alleged that on 25.07.2015 the de facto complainant lodged a report stating that the petitioner being their relative used to visit her house for want of food and he committed sexual assault on her daughter on 22.07.2015 and also for the last six months.

4. The petitioner is in judicial custody since 26.07.2015. Since the allegations against the petitioner are serious in nature, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to him. However, he is directed to move this Court for bail after committal of the case to the Court of Sessions. 5.
