THE HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE RAJA ELANGO WRIT PETITION No.42291 OF 2016 ORDER:
This writ petition, under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, is filed seeking a direction to the 2nd respondent to grant Police Aid/police picket to enjoy the public park in Bhagyanagar colony situated at Sy.No.180/A, Shadnagar Town, Ranga Reddy District and also to take a stringent action of ongoing illegal encroachments of public park by disposing of the representation/complaint, dated 16.11.2016.

Heard and perused the material available on record. 3.
In the affidavit filed in support of the petition, it is stated that the petitioner is a resident of Bhagyanagar colony. The petitioner along with other members of the said colony constructed permanent houses leaving 5% common space, which is earmarked for open space/park. The anti-social elements under the guise of construction of temple, are trying to encroach the said land. Aggrieved by the said action, the petitioner along with others filed writ petitions and this Court granted interim directions. While things stood thus, the land grabbers in the name of Goddess are trying to grab the property.

The respondents filed counter and informed the Court that the respondents have already given police protection whenever it is necessary and they are also taking steps to avoid untoward incidents in the said village.
