ORDER

When the matter is taken up for hearing, learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondents submits that the petitioner had expired and no steps have been taken to bring his legal representatives on record.

Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that during pendency of the writ petition, the petitioner was promoted to the cadre of JMS-I in the year 2004 and subsequently died, and therefore, the cause in this writ petition does not survive for adjudication.

Recording the said submission, the Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous. No costs.

Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending shall stand closed.
