Nampalli Venugopal, Adilabad Dist. v. Ch. Suryanarayana, Adilabad Dist. And Another
HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE A.RAMALINGESWARA RAO CONTEMPT CASE No.1954 OF 2017 ORDER:
This contempt case is filed alleging violation of the order dated 22.08.2017 in W.P.No.28089 of 2017. In the writ petition, the order of suspension was challenged as it was issued on the ground of pendency of proceedings under Section 6-A of the Essential Commodities Act, 1955 (for short 'the Act'). This Court already disposed of the writ petition holding that the proceedings under Section 6-A are different form the proceedings for violation of the control order. Counter affidavit is filed stating that in compliance with the orders passed by this Court, the petitioner would be allotted essential commodities from October, 2017. In view of the same, no further proceedings are required in the contempt case.
Accordingly, contempt case is closed.
Consequently, miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall also stand closed.
