This writ petition is filed challenging the action of the 3rd respondent in interfering with the petitioners' personal life and liberty and in calling the petitioners to the police station, regularly, without any case being filed against them. Learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home produced written instructions dated 12.07.2019 furnished by the SubInspector of Police, Wanaparthy Rural P.S., Wanaparthy, stating that basing on the complaint of one Maddur Venkatramulu, a case in Crime No.82 of 2019 was registered against the petitioners after obtaining prior permission from the Judicial Magistrate of First Class, Wanaparthy; that except investigating into the said crime, they are not interfering with the civil disputes pending between the petitioners and unofficial respondents; and that they are not calling the petitioners to the police station. The same is disputed by the learned counsel for the petitioners.
Recording the aforesaid written instructions the writ petition is disposed of placing the said written instructions on
record and the respondent police are directed not to interfere with the civil disputes pending between the petitioners and unofficial respondents. However, it is open for the petitioners to challenge the registration of crime in Crime No.82/2019, in accordance with law, if they are so aggrieved. No order as to costs.
