HON'BLE SRI JUSTI CE A. RAMALI NGESWARA RAO Writ Petition No. 37079 of 2016 Order:

This Writ Petition was filed for quashing of FIR No.15/RCOACB/CR1/2016 dated 18.08.2016 on the file of Anti-Corruption Bureau, City Range-1, Hyderabad, registered under the provisions of Prevention of Corruption Act, 1988.

This Court, by order dated 08.11.2016, directed the petitioner to appear before the second respondent and the second respondent was directed not to arrest the petitioner.

Learned counsel appearing for the second respondent submits that the investigation is almost completed and the learned counsel for the petitioner also stated that a notice under Section 41-A of Cr.P.C was issued to the petitioner and the petitioner submitted explanation to the Deputy Superintendent of Police, Hyderabad.

In view of the same, no further orders are necessary, except directing the second respondent to complete the investigation and take further steps in accordance with law.

The Writ Petition is, accordingly, closed. There shall be no order as to costs.

As a sequel thereto, the miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this Writ Petition shall stand closed.
