THE HON'BLE DT. JUSTICE SHAMEEM AKTHER WRIT PETITION No.16793 OF 2O2O ORDER:

This Writ Petition, under Article 226 of the Constitution oF India, is filed by the petitioner, wherein the following prayer is made:

"... to issue Writ or Order or direction more particularly one in the nature of Writ Of Mandamus declaring the action of the respondents 2 and 3 in not issuing new Pattadar passbook in respect of land in Sy.No.861/2/1 admeasuring Ac.2-00 gts situated at Khanpur Village, Khanpur Mandal, Warangal (Rural) District is illegal, arbitrary, contrary to the provisions of The Telangana Rights In Land and Pattadar Passbooks Act, L971, consequently direct the respondents to issue new pattadar passbook in favour of the petitioner in respect of land in Sy.No.861/2/1 admeasuring Ac.2-00 gts situated at Khanpur Village, Khanpur Mandal, Warangal (Rural) District and pass such other order or orders as this Hon'ble Court may deem fit and proper in tfre circumstances of the case."

Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Assistant Government Pleader for Revenue appearing for the respondents and perused the record.

Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that petitioner is the absolute owner and possessor oF land admeasuring Ac.2-00 in Survey No.861/2/l situated at Khanapur Village, Khanapur Mandal, Warangal (Rural) District, and he was issued pattadar pass book and title deeds. He filed a representation on 25.06.2020 before respondent No.4-Tahsildar, Khanapur Mandal, for issuance of new pattadar pass book in respect of the subject land. Till date, no action has been taken

on the said representation submitted by the petitioner and ultimately, requests this Court to direct respondent No.4Tahsildar, Khanapur Mandal, to dispose of the said representation submitted by the petitioner forthwith. 4, As seen From the material placed on record, the petitioner submitted a representation on 25.06.2020 to respondent No.4 - Tahsildar. Though three months have elapsed, no action has been taken on the said representation by respondent No.4Tahsildar. By thls time, respondent No,4-Tahsildar ought to have disposed of the said representation. Under these circumstances, it is appropriate to direct respondent No.4Tahsildar to dispose of the representation, dated 25.06.2020, submitted by the petitioner expeditiously.

Accordingly, respondentNo.4-Tahsildar, KhanapurMandal, Warangal (Rural) District, is directed to dispose of the representation, dated 25.06.2020, submitted by the petitioner, in accordance with law, with in a period of three (3) months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

With the above direction, the Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.

Miscellaneous Petitions, if any, pending in this Writ Petition shall stand closed.
