THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE M.SEETHARAMA MURTI WRIT PETITION No.12140 of 2018 ORDER:

In this Writ Petition, under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, the only grievance of the writ petitioner is with regard to non-registration of a crime on his complaint/report, dated 22.03.2018, which was lodged with the Station House Officer, Thotla Valluru Police Station, Thotla Valluru Mandal, Krishna District.

I have heard the submissions of Sri Kothapalli Ram Mohan Chowdary, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, and of the learned Government Pleader for Home (A.P.) appearing for the respondents 1 to 5. I have perused the material record. 3.

Learned Government Pleader for Home, on written instructions, dated 16.04.2018, a copy of which is placed on record, would submit that in respect of incident, dated 08.02.2015, a case in Crime No.43 of 2018 was registered, on 15.04.2018, by the Sub-Inspector of Police, Thotla Valluru Police Station, Thotla Valluru Mandal, Krishna District/5th respondent herein, against the 6th respondent herein, for the offences punishable under Sections 376(2)(e), 420 & 506 of Indian Penal Code, 1860, and investigation into the said crime is in progress. 4.

In view of the said submissions, no further cause survives for adjudication in this writ petition.

Accordingly, the Writ Petition shall stand disposed of. However, liberty is reserved to the petitioner to approach the Police

Officer concerned and on the petitioner approaching the said Police Officer, he shall furnish a copy of the FIR to the petitioner. There shall be no order as to costs.

Pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall stand closed in the light of this final order.
