THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE M.SEETHARAMA MURTI WRIT PETITION No.12207 of 2018 ORDER:

In this Writ Petition, under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, the only grievance of the writ petitioner is in respect of nonregistration of a crime on the complaint/report, dated 12.01.2018, lodged with the Station House Officer, Kovur Police Station, Kovur Mandal, SPSR Nellore District/3rd respondent herein, against the respondents 4 to 6 herein.

I have heard the submissions of Sri V.Siva Prasad Reddy, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, and of the learned Government Pleader for Home (A.P.) appearing for the respondents 1 to 3. I have perused the material record.

Learned counsel for the petitioner, at the hearing, would submit that if a direction is given to register the crime and investigate into the same, the ends of justice would be met. 4.

Learned Government Pleader for Home, on written instructions, dated 17.04.2018, a copy of which is placed on record would submit as follows: 'After going through the complaint, it is noticed that the complaint discloses offences of non-cognizable nature. Therefore, the Police Officer concerned made a request to the Additional Judicial Magistrate of First Class, Kovur, on 17.01.2018, for permission to register the crime and proceed with the investigation. Permission was accorded. Accordingly, a case in Crime No.130 of 2018 was registered, on 10.04.2018, by the Station House Officer, Kovur Police Station, Kovur Mandal, SPSR

MSRM, J W.P.No.12207 of 2018 Nellore District/3rd respondent herein, for the offences punishable under Sections 323, 290 read with 34 of Indian Penal Code, 1860, and investigation into the afore-stated crime is in progress.' 5.

In that view of the matter, no further cause survives for adjudication.

Accordingly, the Writ Petition is closed. There shall be no order as to costs.

Pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall stand closed in the light of this final order.
