HON'BLE THE ACTING CHIEF JUSTICE DILIP B. BHOSALE AND THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE P.NAVEEN RAO CONTEMPT CASE No. 991 of 2016 PC: (per the Hon'ble the Acting Chief Justice Dilip B. Bhosale) Heard learned counsel for the parties.
Mrs. Nanda, learned counsel for the petitioner, submits that the respondent has not complied the directions issued by this Court vide order dated 28.04.2016, in W.A.No. 292 of 2016. The relevant observations in the order read thus:
"It is open to the petitioner to make an application/representation to the Commissioner of Police, Hyderabad for appropriate relief. We request the Commissioner of Police to look into her representation personally and entrust her case either to Station House Officer, Banjara Hills Police Station or any other responsible officer as he deems fit and proper, to find out whether any criminal case is made out by her against any person and that whether she requires police protection, and take appropriate action within a period of one week from the date of her application."
Mr.H.Venugopal, learned Special Government Pleader for the respondent, submits that the respondent has already entrusted the petitioner's case to Mrs.Swathi Lakra, I.P.S. and she is enquiring into the same.
In view thereof, nothing further survives in the contempt case. It is disposed of as such.
Consequently, miscellaneous petitions, if any, also stand disposed of.
