Heard Sri Siva Bhami Reddy, learned counsel for the petitioner, and Sri Ravi Cheemalapati, learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondent Gram Panchayat.

The grievance of the petitioner in the present writ petition is the alleged action on the part of respondent No.4 Gram Panchayat in dumping the garbage waste into the water tank called "Sanyasi Tank" located in Sy.No.107 of Duppalapudi Village, Anaparti Mandal, East Godavari District.

A counter-affidavit deposed by the Panchayat Secretary, Duppalapudi Village is filed denying the said allegation. 4.

During the course of arguments, it is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that now, the respondent Gram Panchayat authorities have stopped dumping the garbage into the above mentioned water tank.

Recording the same, the Writ Petition is disposed of, by placing on record the averments in the counter-affidavit and the statement of the learned counsel for the petitioner so also the learned Standing Counsel. There shall be no order as to costs. 6.

Miscellaneous Petitions pending, if any, in this Writ Petition shall stand closed.
