THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE CHALLA KODANDA RAM WRIT PETITION No.10590 of 2017 ORDER:

In this Writ Petition, petitioners seek a Mandamus declaring the action of the respondents in not paying annuity and not releasing other benefits due to them with regard to the acquisition of their land admeasuring Ac.0.40 cents in D.No.45/B of Sekhamuru Village, Thulluru Mandal, Guntur District, under the Land Pooling Scheme, as illegal and arbitrary. Today, when the matter is taken up, learned Standing Counsel for Andhra Pradesh Capital Region Development Authority appearing for respondent Nos.2 and 3 placed before this Court a copy of written instructions, dated 17.04.2018, in which, it is mentioned that in the enquiry, the petitioners could not substantiate their claim over the subject land by any documentary evidence, as such, on the ground that there is no land in favour of the petitioners, respondent No.3 rejected their claim vide proceedings bearing Rc.No.985/Sakhamuru/2015, dated 16.05.2017.

In the light of the above submission, learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the Writ Petition may be closed by giving

CKR, J W.P.No.10590 of 2017 liberty to the petitioners to take appropriate steps in accordance with law.

In those circumstances, granting liberty to the petitioners as prayed for, the Writ Petition is closed.

Miscellaneous Petitions, if any pending shall stand closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
