WRIT PETITION No.36205 of 2015 ORDER :

The petitioner is a Field Assistant of Lukalam Grama Panchayat, Narasannapeta Mandal, Srikakulam District. Alleging certain illegalities while performing the duties and responsibilities as Field Assistant, the petitioner was removed from service vide proceedings dated 27.07.2015 by the Project Directorcum-Additional District Programme Coordinator of MGNREGS, Srikakulam District (4th respondent). Aggrieved by the said order of the 4th respondent, petitioner preferred appeal before the Commissioner of Panchayat Raj & Rural Development, Hyderabad, who was then appellate authority on 29.08.2015. Alleging that so far no orders are passed in appeal and petitioner is illegally kept out of service, this writ petition is filed.

2. Since the appeal is pending, this Court is not inclined to go into the merits and the writ petition is disposed of directing the Appellate authority to pass orders in appeal filed by the petitioner on 29.08.2015 as expeditiously as possible preferably within a period of four (4) weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order. There shall be no order as to costs.
