Petitioner And The State of Telangana, rep., by its Principal Secretary for Revenue, Secretariat, Hyderabad and others .. Respondents The Court made the following:

THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE P.NAVEEN RAO WRIT PETITION No.14404 OF 2019 ORDER:

Heard.

2.

According to petitioner, he is the pattedar of land to an extent of Acs.60.00 in Survey Nos.1018/o/1, 1018/oo/1 and 1018/aou/1 of Sujathanagar Village and Mandal of Kothagudem Bhadradri District, and his name was mutated in the revenue records. However, certain corrections were made in the revenue records behind the back of the petitioner reflecting the names of third parties. Aggrieved thereby, an application was made before the Revenue Divisional Officer for correction of the errors committed by the Tahsildar. After conducting due enquiry, the Revenue Divisional Officer directed the Tahsildar to correct the errors committed by him, but the Tahsildar refused to correct the said errors. Aggrieved thereby, petitioner filed revision before the Joint Collector, Bhadradri Kothagudem District, under Section 9 of the Telangana Rights in Land and Pattadar Passbooks Act, 1971. In this Writ Petition, petitioner alleges that the revisional authority refused to receive the revision petition filed by the petitioner and the same is ex facie illegal and arbitrary. 3.

Though learned counsel for the petitioner sought to contend that the revisional authority refused to receive the revision petition, no material is placed on record to substantiate the claim of the petitioner.

4.

However, in view of the specific allegation of learned counsel for the petitioner that revisional authority is deliberately refusing to receive the revision petition filed by the petitioner, the Court grants liberty to the petitioner to send the revision petition through registered post and thereafter the revisional authority shall receive the said revision petition, verify its contents and, if it is otherwise in order, assign number and take appropriate steps as required by law.

5.

With the above observation, the Writ Petition is disposed of. Pending miscellaneous petitions shall stand closed. _____________________ P. NAVEEN RAO, J Date:15.07.2019 Note:- Issue C.C. tomorrow.
