When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Public Prosecutor submits that the Criminal Petitions have become infructuous as the cause in the criminal petitions does not survive for further adjudication. The same is not disputed by the learned counsel for the petitioners.

In view of the above representations, both the Criminal Petitions are dismissed as infructuous.
