THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE M.SEETHARAMA MURTI WRIT PETITION No.12091 of 2018 ORDER:

This writ petition, under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, is filed by the petitioner having been aggrieved of non completion of the investigation and filing of final report in case in CrimNo.221 of 2015 on the file of IV Town Police Station, Nellore.

At the hearing, learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that if a direction is given to the 3rd respondent-Station House Officer, IV Town Police Station, Nellore, to complete the investigation and file a final report in accordance with law, the ends of justice would be met. Learned Government Pleader for Home (AP) appearing for the respondents endorses the said submission.

Recording the afore-said submissions, the Writ Petition is disposed of directing the 3rd respondent to complete the investigation into the afore-stated crime as expeditiously as possible and file a final report by strict adherence to the procedure established by law. There shall be no order as to costs. Miscellaneous Petitions, if any, pending in this Writ Petition shall stand closed.
