THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE M.SEETHARAMA MURTI WRIT PETITION No.12183 of 2018 ORDER:

This Writ Petition, under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, is filed by the petitioner seeking verbatim the following relief: "For the reasons stated in the accompanying affidavit, it is hereby prayed that this Hon'ble court may be pleased to issue a Writ, order or direction, more particularly one in the nature of writ of Mandamus, declaring the action of the Respondents 3 and 4 in not investigated the Crime No.146/2016 even after more than one year is illegal, improper and violation of Article 14 and 21 of Constitution of India. Consequently direct the Respondents 2 to 4 to complete the investigation in Crime No.146/2016 and file report under section 173 Cr.P.C. and to pass such other order or orders as this Hon'ble Court may deem fit and proper in the circumstances of the case." 2.

I have heard the submissions of Sri C.Prakash, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, and of the learned Government Pleader for Home (A.P.) appearing for the respondents 1 to 4. I have perused the material record.

The only grievance of the petitioner is non-completion of investigation into the afore-stated crime despite lapse of several years.

Learned Government Pleader for Home, on oral instructions, would submit that the Investigating Officer would complete the investigation and file a final report as and when the investigation is completed.

Recording the submissions, the Writ Petition is disposed of directing the Investigating Officer to complete the investigation into the afore-stated crime, as expeditiously as possible, and file a final

MSRM, J W.P.No.12183 of 2018 report, by strict adherence to the procedure established by law. There shall be no order as to costs.

Pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall stand closed in the light of this final order.
