RESPONDENTS Petition Under Article 226 of the Constitution of lndia praying that in the circumstances stated in the affidavit filed therewith, the High Court may be pleased to issue an appropriate Writ, Order or Direction, more particularly one in the nature of Writ of Mandamus, to declare the action of the respondents in not taking any action for release of the pensionary and other monetary benefits despite his acquittal in the criminal case bearing C.C.No.1117 of 2015 dated 13tgt2\19 inspite of the written representation dated O41O112022 and 0710312022, followed by personal visits, as being illegal, arbitrary, unjust and unconstitutional and consequently direct the respondents to release the pensionary and other monetary benefits due and payable to the petitioner.

Aggrieved by the inaction of respondents in taking any action for release of the pensionary and other monetary benefits of the petitioner despite of his acquittal in the criminal case in C.C.No.1 ll7 of 2015, dated 13.09.2012, and though, he made representations dated 04.O1.2022 and 07 .O3.2022, this writ petition is filed. 2.

When the matter is taken-up for hearing, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that during the pendency of writ petition, the respondents have passed rejection order vide Memo No.17674lVC.1-2OO9, dated 30 .O5.2022 . Challenging the same, the petitioner has filed WP.No. 11587 of 2023 before this Court. Therefore, the matter has become infructuous.

[n view of the same, this writ petition is dismissed as infructuous. Miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shali stand closed. No costs. SD/- G.
