ORDER

Challenging the action of the respondent-police in not taking any action on the complaint of the petitioner dated 31.12.2016, the present writ petition is filed.

Learned Government Pleader for Home, based on the written instructions, submits that on verification of the records, no complaint dated 31.12.2016 was received by the 3rd respondent. However, the petitioner lodged a fresh complaint on 6.1.2017, which was registered as a case in Cr.No.5 of 2017 and investigation is in progress.

In view of the aforesaid submission, the Writ Petition is closed. No costs.
