In this petition filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C., the petitioner seeks to quash the proceedings against him in C.C.No.1492 of 2005 on the file of XVII Metropolitan Magistrate, Red Hills, Hyderabad. 2) When the matter came up for hearing this Court called for information as to the present stage of C.C.No.1492 of 2005. Accordingly, the Metropolitan Sessions Judge, Hyderabad in his letter in Dis.No.11884/MSJ/HYD/2018, dated 04.08.2018 submitted information to the effect that the said case was dismissed for default on 03.02.2016.

3) In that view, this Criminal Petition which was filed against C.C.No.1492 of 2005, has become infructuous and it is accordingly dismissed as infructuous.

As a sequel, miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed.
