The matter underwent several adjournments from the year on 10.11.2017, 30.11.2017, 07.12.2017, 11.12.2017, 18.12.2017, 17.12.2017, 24.01.2018, 25.01.2018, 01.02.2018, 16.03.2018, 3.03.2018, 13.04.2018, 04.06.2018, 12.06.2018, 19.06.2018, 26.06.2018, 04.07.2018 and 16.07.2018 on one pretext or the other. Finally, on 16.07.2018 when the respondents' counsel made her submissions, there was no representation for the petitioner's counsel both in the forenoon and afternoon sessions. Hence, the matter was directed to be listed today under the caption 'for dismissal'.

Today, in spite of the matter being listed under the said caption, again there is no representation for the petitioner or his counsel both in the forenoon and afternoon sessions. It appears, the petitioner is not interested in prosecuting the matter. Hence, the Writ Petition is dismissed for non-prosecution. Miscellaneous petitions pending in this petition, if any, shall stand closed.
