THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE S.V.BHATT WRIT PETITION No.15532 of 2016 ORDER:
Heard learned counsel for petitioners and Assistant Government Pleaders for Revenue and Fisheries. The complaint of petitioners is that respondents 2 to 5 are not taking any action on their representation dated 21-04-2016. The Assistant Government Pleaders representing respondents 1 to 5 submit that respondents can be directed to inspect subject matter of writ petition and if aquaculture/fish tanks is sought to be established without due permission, appropriate action can be taken. I am satisfied that without getting into other aspects of matter, the writ petition can be disposed of by directing respondents 3 and 5 to immediately inspect the subject site and dispose of the representation, dated 21-04-2016 within seven days from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. If any unauthorized activity is being undertaken by farmers, respondents 3 and 5 are directed to take appropriate steps to prevent unauthorized conversion.
Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this Writ Petition shall stand closed.
