O R D E R

(per Hon'ble Sri Justice Sanjay Kumar) This writ petition was filed seeking a writ of Habeas Corpus to produce K.V. Santosh, the son of the petitioner, who is stated to be in the illegal custody of the Madanapalle police authorities at Chittoor District. The Inspector of Police, Madanapalle II Town Police Station, Chittoor District, filed a counter-affidavit stating that K.V. Santosh was shown as A1 in Crime No.147 of 2015 on the file of the said police station, registered under Section 379 I.P.C., and was arrested in connection therewith on 22.11.2015. He was stated to have been produced before the learned II Additional Judicial Magistrate of First Class, Madanapalle, on 23.11.2015 and was remanded to judicial custody. He is stated to be presently lodged in SubJail, Madanapalle. In the light of the afore-stated counter averments which remain unrebutted, we find no cause to adjudicate this writ petition on merits. The writ petition is accordingly dismissed. This order shall however not preclude the petitioner from taking recourse to appropriate remedies in accordance with law.

Pending miscellaneous petitions shall also stand dismissed. No order as to costs.
