This Writ Petition is filed seeking writ of mandamus declaring the proceedings No.P1/1(44)/2015-TPT, dated 28.07.2016 issued by the 3rd respondent in terminating the petitioner services on the allegation of un-authorized absence for duties as illegal and arbitrary.
Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and Sri A.Rama Rao, learned Standing Counsel for respondents 1 to 3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that against the impugned proceedings dated 28.07.2016 passed by the 3rd respondent, the petitioner filed mercy petition before the 2nd respondent on 16.08.2017, but no orders are passed on the same. Since the Mercy Petition alleged to be filed by the petitioner on 16.08.2017 is pending before the 2nd respondent, the 2nd respondent is directed to dispose of the same in accordance with the Rules within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs. As a sequel thereto, miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this Writ Petition shall stand closed.
