Smt. M. Salamma v. Station House Officer,
HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE VILAS V.AFZULPURKAR W.P.No.2278 of 2015 ORDER:
Heard.
Petitioners claim that they sold the land admeasuring 634 sq. yards in Plot bearing Nos.27 and 38 in Sy.Nos.574, 575, 576, 580, 581 and 585 situated at Nadergul Village, Saroornagar Revenue Mandal, Nadergul Gram Panchayat, Ranga Reddy District, to one Smt.Lalitha in the year 2008. While so, the 1st respondent has been repeatedly calling the 2nd petitioner to the police station and harassing him in connection with the said land and detaining him at the police station without their being any case registered against the petitioners. Hence, they filed the present writ petition.
Learned Government Pleader has received instructions, which state that as per the records, no complaint or case is registered against the petitioners or their family members and there appears to be a civil dispute between the petitioners and their transferee with regard to the layout in respect of the plot sold by the petitioners. Apprehending that any complaint may be lodged by the said purchaser against the petitioners, the present writ petition appears to have been filed as a preventive measure. It is evident from the instructions aforesaid that the petitioners' primary allegation that the 2nd petitioner was called to the police station repeatedly and detained him etc., is denied and it is categorically stated that no complaint or case is received so far against the petitioners.
Recording the same, the writ petition is disposed of as unnecessary. No order as to costs.
The miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this writ petition shall stand closed.
