HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE U.DURGA PRASAD RAO CRIMINAL PETITION No.4224 OF 2018 ORDER:

This petition is filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. by the petitioners/A.1 to A.6 seeking to quash the proceedings against them in Crime No.47 of 2018 of Tenali Police Station I Town, Guntur District, registered for the offence under Section 498-A read with 34 of I.P.C. and 3 and 4 of Dowry Prohibition Act. Having regard to the fact that investigation is in the initial stage, this Court is of the considered view that the same shall be proceeded to its logical end.

Having regard to the fact that the charged offences are under Sections 498-A read with 34 of I.P.C. and 3 and 4 of Dowry Prohibition Act, the Investigating Officer shall strictly follow the guidelines of the Apex Court rendered in ARNESH KUMAR Vs. STATE OF BIHAR (1) and also follow the provision under Section 41-A Cr.P.C. towards the petitioners. In turn, the petitioners shall cooperate with the investigating agency for smooth completion of investigation.

Accordingly, this Criminal Petition is disposed of. As a sequel, miscellaneous applications pending if any, shall stand closed.
