HONOURABLE Dr. JUSTICE B.SIVA SANKARA RAO CRL.M.P.Nos.8790 and 8791 OF 2015 IN/AND CRIMINAL PETITION No.1110 OF 2015 COMMON ORDER:

This Criminal Petition is filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C by the petitioner/A4 seeking to quash the proceedings in C.C.No.69 of 2013 on the file of Additional Junior Civil Judge, Srikalahasthi, Chittoor District, where the learned Magistrate has taken cognizance for the offence punishable under Sections 420, 406, 498-A and 506 r/w 34 I.P.C. and Sections 3 and 4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act, which is an outcome of the report of the de facto complainant/respondent No.2.

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned counsel for respondents.

Pending the Criminal Petition, the de facto complainant filed petitions to compound the offences.

The accused and the 2nd respondent/de facto complainant are present before the Court and they are identified by their respective counsel and filed joint memo with affidavit stating that they compromised the matter outside the Court at the intervention of elders. Hence, permission to be accorded to compound the offence.

Having regard to the said circumstances, the complainant is permitted to compound the offence with the accused pending criminal petition before this Court.

Accordingly, Crl.M.P.Nos.8790 and 8791 of 2015 are ordered and the Criminal Petition is allowed by quashing the proceedings in C.C.No.69 of 2013 on the file of Additional Junior
