O R D E R

The case of the petitioners is that, aggrieved by the action of 5th respondent - Society, in denying membership to them even after payment of share capital, they along with one B.Janga Reddy, filed Arbitration Applications vide ARC. Nos.20 to 27 of 2018 before the 3rd respondent - Joint Registrar / District Co-operative Officer, who in turn appointed one Sri Narsimha Reddy, Assistant Registrar, Ibrahimpatnam, Rangareddy District, as Arbitrator under Section 62(1)( c ) of the Telangana Co-operative Societies Act, 1964 to decide the dispute and pass an award within a period of sixty days. Till date, in spite of several reminders, the applications have not been decided. Hence, the present writ petition.

Learned counsel for the petitioners, learned Government Pleader for Cooperation appearing for respondents 1 to 4 and Sri N.Rajeswar Rao, learned counsel for the 5th respondent - Society, submits that writ petition may be disposed of, directing the 3rd respondent to dispose of the above said applications within certain time frame.

Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, and the submissions of the learned counsel, without expressing any opinion on merits, writ petition is disposed of directing the 3rd respondent to dispose of the above referred arbitration applications in accordance with law, after issuing notice and opportunity of hearing to the petitioners, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

Interlocutory applications pending, if any, shall stand closed. No order as to costs.
