THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE SANJAY KUMAR ELECTION PETITION No.36 of 2014 ORDER:

Despite this Court granting time finally on 19.01.2016, Sri T. Sai Swaroop, learned counsel representing Sri M. Venkataramana Reddy, learned counsel on record for the petitioner, states that no instructions have been received from the client. He further states that a letter has been addressed to the client by registered post but despite the same, no instructions have been received. Earlier, one G. Subba Rao, learned counsel, stated that he was instructed to appear in the matter but no steps were taken by him thereafter.

Sri T. Sai Swaroop, learned counsel, also confirms that the papers and the material relating to the case have been taken away by the petitioner in the month of December, 2015. The afore-stated facts clearly demonstrate that the petitioner is not interested in pursuing the election petition. The election petition is accordingly dismissed for nonprosecution. Pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall also stand dismissed. No order as to costs.
