In this Writ Petition, under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, the grievance of the writ petitioner is with regard to noncompletion of investigation into case in Crime No.311 of 2017, registered, on 16.11.2017, by the Station House Officer, Lalapeta Police Station, Guntur Town, Guntur District, and non-filing of the final report, by following the procedure established by law. 2.

I have heard the submissions of Sri N.V.R.Amarnath, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, and of the learned Government Pleader for Home (A.P.) appearing for the respondents 1 to 3. I have perused the material record.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that if a direction is given to the Investigating Officer to complete the investigation and file a final report, by following the procedure established by law, the ends of justice would be met.

Learned Government Pleader for Home endorses the said submission.

In the result, the Writ Petition is disposed of directing the 3rd respondent to complete the investigation into the afore-stated crime expeditiously and file a final report, by following the procedure established by law. There shall be no order as to costs. Pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall stand closed in the light of this final order.
