THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE M.SEETHARAMA MURTI WRIT PETITION No.12194 of 2018 ORDER:

In this Writ Petition, under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, the only grievance of the petitioner is with regard to noncompletion of the investigation into the case in Crime No.21 of 2018, registered, on 28.01.2018, by the Station House Officer, Kothapeta Police Station, Guntur District, pursuant to the report of the 4th respondent, dated 28.01.2018, lodged against the petitioner. 2.

I have heard the submissions of Sri N.V.R.Amarnath, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, and of the learned Government Pleader for Home (A.P.) appearing for the respondents 1 to 3. I have perused the material record.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that if a direction is given to expedite the investigation and file a final report, by following the procedure established by law, the ends of justice would be met. 4.

Learned Government Pleader for Home endorses the said submission.

In the result, the Writ Petition is disposed of directing the 3rd respondent to complete the investigation into the afore-stated crime expeditiously and file a final report, by following the procedure established by law. There shall be no order as to costs. Pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall stand closed in the light of this final order.
