HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE U.DURGA PRASAD RAO CRIMINAL PETITION No.4262 of 2018 ORDER:

In this petition filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C, the petitioner/accused seeks to quash the proceedings in FIR No.160/2017 of Pochampalli PS, Rachakonda, which was registered against him for the offence under Section 509 r/w 34 IPC.

2) When the matter came up for hearing today, learned Public Prosecutor produced the letter dated 11.04.2018 of Sub-Inspector of Police, Pochampally PS and submitted that in this case investigation was completed and charge sheet was filed on 22.02.2018 before the Additional Judicial First Class Magistrate, Bhongir and C.C number is awaited and therefore, the petition which is filed to quash the FIR has become infructuous and hence the same may be dismissed.

3) There is no representation for petitioner.

4) In view of the above submission of learned Public Prosecutor, this Criminal Petition is dismissed as Infructuous. As a sequel, miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed.
