THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE CHALLA KODANDA RAM WRIT PETITION No. 24305 of 2015 O R D E R :

To declare the action of the respondent - police in interfering with the functioning of the 1st petitioner society as illegal and arbitrary, this Writ Petition is filed.

Learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home has obtained written instructions from the Inspector of Police, Banjara Hills Police Station and submits that Crime No. 680 of 2015 was registered against the petitioners for the offences punishable under Sections 420 and 419 read with Section 34 IPC and on completion of investigation, a charge-sheet was filed on 23.09.2017 vide C.C.No. 1764 of 2017 on the file of the II Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate's Court at Nampally and the same is pending trial.

While issuing notice before admission, an interim order was passed to the effect that the respondents should not interfere with the activities of the petitioner society except in accordance with law. Inasmuch as it is submitted that against the petitioners, a crime was registered and a charge sheet was also filed for the offences punishable under Sections 419 and 420 IPC., no further orders are required to be made in this Writ Petition except directing that any interference with the petitioner - society's activity shall be strictly in accordance with law. The Writ Petition is closed accordingly. No costs. Consequently, the miscellaneous Applications, if any shall stand closed.
