WRIT PETITION NO. 30529 OF 2016 O R D E R :

This writ petition is filed by the petitioners seeking mandamus to declare the action of respondents 1 to 6 as illegal, null and void in not considering the representation dated 18/7/2016 filed by the petitioners whereby suitable direction with regard to the disbursement of compensation amount to the respondents 7 to 14 until disposal of the domestic violence case, which was filed by the petitioner No.1 and her ward i.e., second petitioner and to pass such other suitable orders as this Court may deems fit and proper in the circumstances of the case.

2. Notice issued. Counsel accepts notice on behalf of respondent No.2 and has assured this Court that decision shall be taken on the representation dated 18/7/2016 made by the petitioners.

3. Keeping in view of the averments made in the affidavit filed in support of the petition and submission made by the counsel for the respondent No.2, I hereby direct the respondent No.2 to decide the

representation dated 18/7/2016 filed by the petitioners and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. I hereby make it clear that if the representation of the petitioners was not reached to the office of respondent No.2, the said respondent shall communicate to the petitioners that the office of respondent No.2 has not received any representation. On receipt of such communication, it is open to the petitioners to make a fresh representation. Further if any fresh representation is made by the petitioners, the said representation shall be decided within two weeks from the date of submitting the same.

5. In view of the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of at the stage of admission. No costs.

6. As a sequel, miscellaneous petitions if any, pending in this writ petition shall stand closed.
