Heard the learned counsel for petitioner and learned Government Pleader for Revenue.

Aggrieved by the decision of the original authority on imposing fine for not obtaining permission for conversion of agricultural land for non agricultural purposes as required by A.P. Agricultural Land (Conversion for Non Agricultural Purpose) Act, 2006, petitioner preferred appeal and the same was numbered as D2/1026/2019. According to learned counsel for petitioner notice was issued on 20.5.2019 fixing the date of hearing as 1.6.2019, which was adjourned to 6.6.2019 and further adjourned to 3.8.2019. This writ petition is filed alleging inaction in disposing the appeal by the appellate authority. 3.

Based on the material on record, it cannot be said that there is inordinate delay in considering the appeal filed by the petitioner. Petitioner submitted the appeal on 2.5.2019 and notices were issued and appeal has been taken up by the respondent authority for hearing, therefore, this Court is not inclined to grant the relief prayed for. Accordingly, writ petition is dismissed, leaving it open to the petitioner to seek appropriate relief from the appellate authority for expeditious disposal of the appeal/interlocutory application, if any pending.
