THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE SANJAY KUMAR WRIT PETITION No.18937 of 2012 ORDER:

The grievance of the petitioners was with regard to the notification dated 09.06.2012 issued by the mining authorities for grant of quarrying leasehold rights in respect of sand.

No interim orders were granted by this Court at that stage. Perusal of the impugned notification reflects that the quarrying rights to be granted thereunder were only up to 31.03.2013.

In that view of the matter, the issue raised in this writ petition is rendered purely academic.

The writ petition is therefore dismissed.

Pending Miscellaneous Petitions shall also stand dismissed. No order as to costs.
