THE HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE A.V. SESHA SAI W.P. No.10823 of 2010 ORDER:

Challenge in the present writ petition is to the order dated 26.04.2010 of the Junior Civil Judge/Election Tribunal, Amadalavalasa in EOP. No.5 of 2006. By virtue of the said order, the election of the petitioner herein as Sarpanch of Burja Grampanchayat was declared as null and void.

This Court on 20.08.2010 granted interim suspension of the order passed by the Election Tribunal. Since the period covered by the earlier election had already come to an end long back no further orders are required to be passed in the present writ petition. Accordingly, this writ petition is dismissed as infructuous. The miscellaneous applications, if any pending, shall stand closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
