THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE A.V. SESHA SAI WRIT PETITION No.2822 OF 2017 ORDER:
This writ petition is filed, under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, for the following relief: "to issue an appropriate Writ, Order or Direction more particularly in the nature of Writ of Mandamus declaring the action of the respondents in changing the alignment for laying 400 KV High Tension Transmission Lines from Rajamahendravaram to Kamavarapukota SubStation, whereby the lands of the petitioners situated in RS No.471 and 475 of Guruvaygudem Village of Jangareddygudem Mandal, West Godavari District are being affected is arbitrary, illegal, capricious and violative of provisions of Indian Telegraphic Act and Electricty Act 2003 and consequently direct the respondents to follow the original alignment for the said work."

When the matter is called, it is submitted by the learned standing counsel Sri N.Siva Reddy, that there is no proposal by the A.P.Transco to lay high tension wires across the lands of the petitioners herein.

Recording the said submission, this writ petition is closed. Miscellaneous petitions pending consideration, if any, in this case shall stand closed in consequence. No order as to costs.
