THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE A.RAJASHEKER REDDY WRIT PETITION No.14599 OF 2019 O R D E R :

This writ petition is filed challenging the action of the respondents 4 and 5 and their subordinates in illegally detaining the petitioners in task force office, physically assaulting and taking their signatures on blank cheques.

Learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home produced written instructions dated 16.07.2019 furnished by the Inspector of Police (Task Force), North Zone, Secunderabad, stating that no complaints are pending against the petitioners on the file of the respondent No.5, as such summoning the petitioners to the Task Force Office does not arise. It is also stated that they never called the petitioners to the police station; that they never detained them in the police station and that they never obtained signatures of the petitioners on the blank cheques. It is further stated that the respondents have nothing to do with the civil disputes between the petitioners and third parties.

Recording the aforesaid written instructions the writ petition is disposed of placing the said written instructions on record and the respondent police are directed not to interfere with the life and liberty of the petitioners, except in accordance with law. No order as to costs. As a sequel thereto, miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in the writ petition, shall stand closed.
