When this matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner filed this writ petition challenging the action of the respondents in not promoting him, but the petitioner left the respondent-institute and therefore, the cause in this writ petition does not survive. Recording the above submission, the Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous.

Consequently, miscellaneous petitions if any pending in the writ petition shall stand closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
