HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE RAJA ELANGO WRIT PETITION No.40994 of 2016 ORDER:

This writ petition is filed by the petitioner under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking to direct respondents Nos.1 to 6 to register the FIR on the basis of the complaint lodged by the petitioner on 18.11.2016.

Heard and perused the material available on record. 3.

It is the grievance of the petitioner that respondents Nos.7 to 10 are trying to trespass into the land of the petitioner with an intention to grab the same and hence, he made a complaint before the police. But they have not taken any action so far.

Considering the circumstances of the case and the grievance of the petitioner, without expressing any opinion, the Writ Petition is disposed of with the following direction:

"The official respondents are directed to register a case on the basis of the complaint made by the petitioner dated 18.11.2016, if it discloses any cognizable offence, and proceed in accordance with law. If the official respondents fail to do so, the petitioner is at liberty to avail the remedies that are available under the Code of Criminal Procedure."

No costs. Consequently, miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed.
