HON'BLE SRI JUSTI CE A. RAMALI NGESWARA RAO Writ Petition No. 10019 of 2017 Order:

This Writ Petition is filed seeking police protection from the acts of the respondents 4 to 7.

The petitioners are office bearers of one Oorjita Grand Vie Residents Welfare Association and in connection with the affairs of the association some disputes arose. The respondents 4 to 7 lodged a private complaint and the same was referred to the police for investigation. The police after investigation filed a final report stating that the dispute is civil in nature. After filing the final report as such, the petitioners alleged that the respondents 4 to 7 are harassing the petitioners and hence they need police protection. A copy of the complaint lodged by the petitioners or representation filed by them seeking police protection is not available in the file.

In the circumstances, liberty is given to the petitioners, if there is any threat to their lives, to approach the third respondent seeking appropriate action and on receipt of the same it is open to the third respondent to take appropriate action in accordance with law. The Writ Petition is, accordingly, disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.

As a sequel thereto, the miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this Writ Petition shall stand closed.
