THE HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE RAJA ELANGO CRIMINAL PETITION No.6868 of 2016 ORDER:

This Criminal Petition is filed by the petitioners-accused Nos.2 and 4 seeking to quash the proceedings against them in Crime No.3 of 2016 on the file of the C.S.Puram Police Station, Prakasam District. Heard and perused the material available on record. The petitioners are alleged to have committed the offences punishable under Sections 147, 148 and 324 r/w.149 IPC. It is alleged that the petitioners, along with A1, attacked the de facto complainant and his brother with iron rods and sticks and caused grievous injuries, due to some disputes. The allegations leveled against the petitioners are serious in nature and hence, this Court is not inclined to quash the proceedings against them.

Accordingly, the Criminal Petition is dismissed. Miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed. _______________ RAJA ELANGO, J April 29, 2016.
