Heard counsel for the petitioner and the Government Pleader for Revenue appearing for the respondents.
2. Petitioner's grievance is that the 4th respondent is not receiving and registering the documents presented by the petitioner in respect of land to an extent of Ac.3.78 cents in Sy.No.52-3 situated at Mukthapuram Village, Mudigubba Mandal, Anantapur District.
3. The Government Pleader for Revenue appearing for respondents states that the 4th respondent would receive the document presented by the petitioner and if he does not wish to register it, he will pass orders under Section 71 of the Registration Act, 1908 (for short 'the Act') giving reasons why he does not wish to register the said document.
4. In view of the said submission, the Writ Petition is disposed of directing the 4th respondent to receive the document presented by the petitioner, if submitted by the petitioner within a period of two (02) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order; and if the 4th respondent
does not wish to register it, he shall pass an order, why he does not wish to register, under Section 71 of the Act within a period of four (04) weeks thereafter and communicate his decision thereon to the petitioner. There shall be no order as to costs.
5. Consequently, miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand dismissed.
