ORDER

This criminal petition is filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. seeking to quash the proceedings in C.C.No.213 of 2017 on the file of the XIII Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate, Hyderabad. Learned counsel for the petitioners as well as learned Public Prosecutor agreed for disposal of the case at the stage of admission. Learned Public Prosecutor brought to the notice of this Court that no discharge petition is filed by the petitioners before the Court below.

This Court is of the opinion that when there is an effective remedy, there is no need for invocation of powers of this Court under Section 482 Cr.P.C.

Hence, the Criminal Petition is disposed of with a direction to the petitioners to approach the lower Court and file a discharge petition.
